AFSC/PZIMA is issuing this solicitation with the intent to award sole source to Intron, a division of Illinois Tool Works, Inc. (80160) for the Tensile Testers Verification and Calibration.

The contractor shall provide all labor, travel, tools, equipment, materials and service to perform annual verification and calibration of six (6) tensile testers for the 402nd Maintenance Support Group (MXSG) at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia. Verification and calibration shall be performed in accordance with ASTM Standards ASTM E4, ASTM E83, ASTM E2309 and ASTM E2658. The contractor shall be an ISO 9000 and/or A2LA accredited calibration company. All measurement equipment used for verification/calibration shall be traceable to National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). The contractor shall coordinate work dates with the Government POC within 10 calendar days after award and send calibration certificates as PDF within five days after completion.
