High-Performance Optical Atomic Clocks

The contractor must provide two optical atomic clock systems that meet detailed specifications including frequency stability (ADEV < 1E-13 at 1 second, < 8E-15 at 100,000 seconds), environmental sensitivity limits, physical dimensions compatible with 19-inch rack enclosures, integrated control and monitoring, and a stabilized femtosecond-laser frequency comb output. The contractor must also provide a 5-year warranty, deliver and install the systems within 12 weeks ARO, and submit past performance examples. The government will conduct acceptance testing including Allan Deviation characterization against NIST hydrogen maser clocks.
