Legionella and Dental Water Line Sampling
The contractor will provide all management, supervision, labor, materials, supplies, and equipment to collect water samples and perform laboratory analysis for Legionella, oxidant residual, potable water quality (TSS, pH, hardness), and Heterotrophic Plate Count (dental water lines) on a quarterly basis at the James A. Haley Veterans Administration Medical Center main campus (13000 Bruce B. Downs Blvd Tampa FL), Primary Care Annex (1315 Lake Terrace Ln. Tampa FL), and New Port Richey VA Dental Clinic (7900 Little Road New Port Richey FL). The contract includes a base period and four option years, with supplemental water sampling (retesting) for Legionella and Heterotrophic Plate Count, and a one-time Healthcare Associated Legionella Disease Prevention Plan Verification (Water Management Plan). Sampling must follow specified protocols, use a CDC ELITE-certified laboratory for Legionella analysis, and provide reports within 10 days of sample date.
