This is Amendment A0002 to IFB Solicitation 36C24226B0044, Expand Parking Lot at the James J. Peters DVA Medical Center, Bronx, NY.
This amendment provides the following for bidding contractors:
RFI s and responses to all RFI s received on time for this solicitation. (See continuation sheet of SF30)
Revised Bid Sheet (attached) with instructions for bidding contractors for the following line items: Line item 1: Base Bid, Line item 2: Conduit Excavation, Line item 3: Add allowance of $100,000.00 for additional tree excavation and rock removal = TOTAL BASE BID. Low Bid Award will be based on total base bid.
Provide notification of bid opening extension. Bid opening will now be held on Monday, 8/24/2026 @ 2PM EST. No emailed bids will be accepted.

The contractor shall completely prepare the site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor and materials for the VAMC Bronx Parking Lot Replacement and Expansion as required by drawings and specifications. Work includes general construction, demolition, alterations, roads, walks, grading, drainage, excavation, backfill, disposal of excess materials, paving, signage, necessary removal of existing structures and construction, and certain other items including but not limited to gate and security access and monitoring systems. Electrical work includes all labor, material, equipment and supervision to perform required electrical construction including lighting, electrical demolition and relocations, conduits and wiring, and card reader.
