The contractor shall replace two existing 480/277 V substations (Substation 1 & 2) with 1500 kVA transformers, and optionally a third temporary 480/277 V substation with a 1500 kVA transformer. Work includes demolition and removal of existing structures, construction of a new electrical room, replacement of feeders, transformers, control systems, complete arc flash hazard analysis, load monitoring, site assessment, and design and installation of an HVAC cooling system. All work must be phased to minimize service outages and comply with VA specifications, regulations, and infection control requirements.
