Under Wis. The assurance may be a surety bond, letter of credit, certificate of deposit, or other nonnegotiable instrument of fixed value, generally in an amount equal to 4% of the prior-year payroll or anticipated current-year payroll, whichever is greater as determined by the Department of Workforce Development. The employer must restore any liquidated assurance within 30 days.
