Under the Code of Maryland Regulations 12.11.10 (Dept. of Public Safety & Correctional Services, Private Home Detention Monitoring Agencies — implementing the Correctional Services Article home detention provisions), an agency must file with its application a surety bond of not less than $2,500, conditioned on faithful and honest conduct and running to the State for the benefit of any person injured by a willful or malicious wrongful act of the agency.
