This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.202(b), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued.
The Kansas Air National Guard, McConnell AFB, KS is seeking to award a firm fixed price contract to vendor to complete removal and replacment of Building 35 chiller in accordance with the statement of work.
Period of performance is 90 days from Notice to Proceed. This project is set aside 100% for small business.
Organized Site Visit has been scheduled for 17 August 2026 at 0900 CDT. See solicitation for futher instructions.

SCA Wage Determination
Work consists of replacing an existing 80-ton chiller unit with a new Trane 80-ton chiller with 134A refrigerant or equivalent. The contractor will remove the existing unit, including disposal of refrigerant, and install the replacement chiller, ensuring proper grounding. This may require use of a crane. The contractor must update the Direct Digital Control (DDC) system as necessary, expand the concrete pad if the new unit dimensions do not match, update electrical panels/breakers to meet standards (existing power is 460V with 500 kcmil conductors), and connect to existing 4-inch water piping. Additionally, the contractor must install a 4-inch T-valve for temporary chiller hook-up.
