The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC) intends to award an indefinite delivery requirements type contract for the overhaul of the port and starboard rudders in support of USCG 87’ WPB Patrol Boats. The period of performance for this requirement will be a base period of twelve (12) months, and four (4), one-year option periods.

The contractor shall furnish all necessary equipment, labor and materials to test, inspect, report, preserve, package, pack, mark, bar-code and deliver overhauled rudders in accordance with the solicitation and attached Statement of Work. Work includes open, clean, paint removal, inspect, test rudders and submit a Condition Found Report within 20 days of receipt of Government Furnished Property, then perform overhaul to return the rudder to serviceable 'A' condition per Coast Guard drawing 87WPB 562-001 Rev. A.
