This procurement is restricted to the approved companies eligible for call orders under the R2 Rocky Mountain Restoration Project (RMRP) Stewardship BPA for the Pike-San Isabel National Forest in the state of Colorado. This requirement may be awarded to one vendor as a BPA Call Order against BPA's previously solicited on the Government Point of Entry (GPE). The government will not provide feedback or evaluations to companies regarding their submissions in response to this notice that are not eligible for awards under the R2 RMRP Stewardship BPA.
The contractor must perform mandatory work activities including cutting and removing included timber (618 CCF), steep slope logging cut and forward and non-commercial thinning and decking on 17 acres, non-commercial thinning and decking on 144 acres, hand thinning of non-included material on 296 acres, and road maintenance on 0.8 miles of NFSR 201C. The project also includes timber removal of sawtimber (Douglas-fir and other conifer species, and Ponderosa Pine) and optional Timber Subject to Agreement. Work must comply with technical specifications in Appendices A, B, and C, and the contract period is from award through September 30, 2028.
