REVISION 1: EXTENDING SOLICITATION DEADLINE.
Portsmouth Naval Shipyard Detachment at Naval Base Point Loma in San Diego, CA seeks to procure the experienced services for repair of an AC Motor. Repair requires access to specific NAVSEA drawings and a Property Management System to support Government Furnished Property. Vendor must be within a reasonable driving distance of NBPL in San Diego, CA.
Please see the attached documentation. Any interested vendor should submit a completed Request for Quote with the applicable information and attachments to the receipient listed within the RFQ and this posting.
The contractor shall perform as-arrived visual inspection, electrical tests, and mechanical checks; disassemble and clean the AC Motor; varnish dip and bake stator windings if authorized; reassemble the motor; and perform an operational (no load) test. The work is to be performed at the contractor's facility. The contractor must record data on provided tables and report results to PNSDETSD Code 270. The government will provide the motor, engineering evaluations, vibration data collection, and applicable references.
