The contract type is a firm-fixed price. The Government reserves the right upon award to make formal single or multiple awards. The Government will award to the responsible offerors whose bid, conforming to the solicitation, are considered to be most advantageous to the Government, with both past performance and price considered.
The solicitation will be available on AUGUST 7TH, 2026 at 8:00 AM EST and will be posted to the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website: www.sam.gov/. Faith-based and community-based organizations have the right to submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. Vendors who submit an offer concur that the delivery date can be met, unless otherwise specified (example, weekly bread deliveries).
Substitutions to specifications in line-item descriptions are prohibited, (example, size and case count.) No dented cans or substitutions will be allowed. We reserve the right to request a sample of product prior to award for perishable items. The contractor must supply and deliver a wide range of subsistence items to FCI McKean, including dry beans, rice, pasta, corn meal, non-fat dry milk, cereal, tofu, hummus, oils, margarine, dressings, mustard, relish, taco shells, canned tomatoes, canned vegetables (green beans, carrots, corn, mixed vegetables, peas, jalapenos, spinach), canned fruit, spices (basil, bay leaves, cumin, garlic salt, onion powder, paprika, red pepper, thyme, turmeric), soup base, ground beef, beef patties, beef roasts, chicken breast, chicken tender, chicken filet, fish fillets, pork roast, turkey roast, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, cottage cheese, sour cream, cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes, and various certified Halal and Kosher meals (e.g., filet of sole, beef goulash, beef pot roast, roasted chicken breast, chicken wings, chicken chow mein, meatloaf, Hawaiian meatballs, spaghetti and meatballs, cheese omelet, Spanish omelet, bologna, lasagna, stuffed peppers, eggplant creole, tuna, sardines, cereal, oatmeal, farina, vegetable juice, potato chips, and milk).
