The project consists of repairing and/or replacing riprap along the slopes of the levee and reconstructing portions of the levee with fill material. The contractor must furnish all necessary supplies, materials, earthmoving, and support equipment complete with operator. Specific equipment includes a Cat 325F L or similar track-mounted hydraulic excavator (minimum HP 160, weight 56,000 lbs, reach 30 ft) with hydraulic thumb, a Cat 315F L or similar excavator (minimum HP 95, weight 36,000 lbs, reach 28 ft) with hydraulic thumb, 8'x20' steel road crossing plates (minimum 1-inch thick), hydroseed for 0.5 acre, and construction site toilet service for 3 weeks. Work will be performed at the Nooksack River near Lynden, Whatcom County, WA, with a period of performance from 31 August 2026 to 10 October 2026.
