The purpose of this requirement is the replacement and modernization of the existing retractable vehicle bollard system at the Lloyd D George US Courthouse in Las Vegas, NV.
The Contractor shall furnish all labor and materials to install a complete four-unit, M50-rated, 240V single-phase automatic retractable electric bollard system to replace the existing legacy bollard system. The work includes removal of existing relay-based controls, obsolete control cabinets, wiring, bollard operating hardware, and related components; provision and installation of new electro-mechanical drive components, structural bollard components, PLC-based controls, control cabinets, internal and external wiring, battery backup or uninterruptible power supply components, magnetic vehicle sensing loop, traffic signal integration, photo-eye sensor integration, and access-control system integration; and required site preparation including electrical isolation, removal of existing components, pavement saw-cutting, excavation, conduit clearing, and drainage.
