PATIENT ELOPEMENT TRACKING SYSTEM Amendment

The contractor must furnish and install a standalone patient elopement tracking system at the ST Albans VAMC. The system includes 100 patient wearable tags, detection at covered doors and elevators, elevator control to hold doors open and prevent cab departure, and alerting at nurse, Police, and WHEN workstations. The system must be completely standalone, not using any VA network infrastructure. The contractor must provide the server and workstations. The system must include a 1-year warranty, with a separate maintenance service contract to be awarded after warranty expires. ICRA containment is required during installation. The contractor must coordinate with the elevator maintenance company for elevator integration.
