The U.S. Army TMDE Activity (USATA) has a requirement to procure a brand name purchase of two (2) Electronic Autocollimator that will be used for angle measurements parameter for the calibration of angular gage blocks, optical prisms, optical polygons, and optical wedges. The increased accuracy will eventually allow the APSL to lower its measurement uncertainties for angular calibrations and provide a better Test to Uncertainty ratio for the secondary reference labs. The autocollimators must have an accuracy better than 0.05 arcseconds with a resolution of less than 0.01 arcseconds, and a measurement range greater than ±100 arcseconds. They must also have dual axis measurement capability, have a relatively small footprint: approximately no larger than 12in by 8in, and an ISO 17025 accredited calibration. This item shall be delivered to the Army Primary Standards Laboratory (APSL), Building 5435 Fowler Road, Redstone Arsenal, AL. The Electronic Autocollimator shall include the following specifications or equivalent (if not brand name):
Model 229 923 ELCOMAT HR
Qty:2
High Resolution Electronic Autocollimator
Dual axis
Fully automatic, software-controlled operations
Resolution: 0.005 arcsec
Absolute accuracy:
±0.01 arcsec over any 10 arcsec range
±0.03 arcsec over total measuring range
Measuring range: +/- 150 arcsec
acquisition range: +/- 600 arcsec
control-/display unit CModul HR
Interface RS 232/USB
software interface INCOLINK
AC-viewfinder prism
DAkkS Calibration
The contractor must supply two (2) Model 229 923 ELCOMAT HR High Resolution Electronic Autocollimators with dual axis, fully automatic software-controlled operations, 0.005 arcsec resolution, ±0.01 arcsec absolute accuracy over any 10 arcsec range, ±0.03 arcsec over total measuring range, +/- 150 arcsec measuring range, +/- 600 arcsec acquisition range, control-/display unit CModul HR, RS 232/USB interface, INCOLINK software interface, AC-viewfinder prism, and DAkkS Calibration. The units must have an accuracy better than 0.05 arcseconds, resolution less than 0.01 arcseconds, measurement range greater than ±100 arcseconds, dual axis capability, footprint no larger than 12in by 8in, and ISO 17025 accredited calibration. Delivery is to the Army Primary Standards Laboratory (APSL), Building 5435 Fowler Road, Redstone Arsenal, AL, within 30 days of order.
