The purpose of this announcement is to provide the Science and Technology (S&T) Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) for the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT). Please see the attachment for details regarding the BAA.
This BAA will be open for five (5) years.
The BAA covers 27 Undersea Technology Subject Areas including SEAPOWER 21/SEATRIAL concept experimentation, integrated live/virtual/constructive modeling and simulation, submarine and surface ship sonar, combat control and information management systems, USW systems, environmental and tactical support systems, surface ship USW systems, submarine electromagnetic systems, test and evaluation, undersea communications, torpedo and torpedo target system technology, thermal and electric propulsion, high-speed undersea missiles, unmanned offboard vehicles (UUV/AUS/USV/UAV), test bed technologies, launcher/missile/payload integration systems, torpedo defense (launchers and modeling/simulation), countermeasures technology, materials, AI/ML and emerging technologies, bioeffects, communications and PNT in denied environments, C2 and battle management tools, submarine USW systems, cybersecurity, and marine mammal monitoring and modeling. The work involves basic and applied research with potential uses aligning with the listed subtopics.
