VISN 2 Patient Ceiling Lift
The contractor shall provide turn-key services to install patient lift systems, including all new installation and removal/de-installation of existing lift system equipment such as slings, lift devices, rails, support material, bracing, and all associated components. The work includes providing required plans, engineering details, tools, labor, testing, training, cleaning supplies, and containment systems. The contractor must provide complete pricing for its entire catalog of OEM-approved slings compatible with the proposed lift system. The contractor shall also provide clinical inservice training, vendor certified installation, and vendor certified deinstallation. All installations must comply with Patient Safety Alert AL14-07 and include a completed installation checklist for each lift. The contractor must provide a set of stamped drawings by a registered structural engineer and comply with all applicable codes and standards.
