On-call Pest Mitigation Services – Primarily for Bed Bugs for the Adam Benjamin Jr., VA Outpatient Clinic Crown Point, Indiana

The contractor shall provide on-call pest mitigation upon notification, including inspection and identification, coordination with VA staff to isolate affected areas, compliant treatment using non-toxic and/or low-toxicity methods in patient care areas, follow-up inspection and retreatment if necessary, and emailed PDF reports with date of call, purpose, findings, actions including pesticides used, follow-up recommendations and technician names. Response is on a 24/7/365 basis with on-site assessment within 4 hours and definitive treatment within 24 hours on weekdays and 48 hours on weekends or Federal holidays, performed before or after Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. patient care hours. The base and four option years each authorize 6 jobs, with one job equaling one service call including follow-ups.
