This is a combined Synopsis/solicitation IAW RFO Part 12 procedures. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; this is a Request for Quote (RFQ) and another written solicitation will not be issued. The Government intends to place a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract for this requirement. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date and prior to any contract award. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.
This requirement is a supply contract for the procurement of Brand Name Snap-on Professional-Grade Mechanic's Tool Kits w/tools for Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) maintenance. This acquisition complies with Air Force tool control and Foreign Object Debris (FOD) standards and is critical for maintaining operational readiness and flight safety. The primary requirement is the acquisition of Brand Name Snap-on manufactured components and specialized tool control systems necessary to equip maintenance personnel. The contractor must supply 13 tool kits (CLIN 0001) and 4 tool kits (CLIN 0002) of Snap-on branded professional-grade mechanic's tool kits. Each kit includes a rolling tool chest with drawers, custom foam inserts in contrasting colors for FOD control, laser-etched tools with unique identifiers, and a comprehensive set of hand tools including sockets, ratchets, wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers, and prybars. All tools must be made from high-strength industrial-grade alloy steel and include drive sizes 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" in both SAE and Metric. Delivery must be within 30 calendar days from date of award.
