This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.
Solicitation number 12639526Q0089 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for diagnostic testing services from NAHLN approved laboratories. See Attachment 1 – Performance Work Statement for a complete list of requirements.
This acquisition is not set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 541940 Veterinary Services. The small business size standard is $10 million. This acquisition is being conducted under other than full and open competition; see Attachment 3 - Class Justification and Approval. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
The contractor must provide diagnostic testing services as listed in the Schedule of Testing Services, including virus isolation for influenza A virus, culture and sensitivity for disease agents, aerobic culture and identification of bacterial pathogens, and morphologic evaluation of flies or larvae for New World Screwworm. Services are to be performed at the contractor's NAHLN approved laboratory, with firm-fixed-price unit prices submitted for five ordering periods covering up to 60 months.
