The instant requirement is for a Underwater Digital Image Correlation system that the Government intends to award on a Sole Source Basis with Correlated Solutions. Please see attached solicitation and Redacted Sole Source Justificaiton for additional details.
The contractor shall provide a complete Correlated Solutions turnkey underwater high speed DIC system including cameras, lenses, cabling, underwater acquisition software, post processing software, lighting, and a mobile acquisition workstation. The system must work in concert with the existing two-camera 3D underwater DIC system at USNA. The vendor shall provide training/guidance to the customer for proper installation and operation. Deliverables include VIC-2D and VIC-3D high-speed digital image correlation software with Variable Ray Origin (VRO) underwater calibration, Vic-Snap HS image acquisition software, real-time strain monitoring software, a CSI Control Cart PC, high-speed underwater lighting, and a two-year warranty on all non-consumables.
