INTRODUCTION
Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Fermilab or FNAL), managed and operated by Fermi Forward Discovery Group, LLC (FFDG) under a prime contract with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), is seeking to subcontract for work aligned with its mission objectives.
The Proton Improvement Plan II (PIP-II) project is an essential upgrade to Fermilab’s accelerator complex that will support the world’s most intense high-energy neutrino beam for the international Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment at LBNF, as well as a broad physics program for decades to come. In support of PIP-II, FNAL requires the procurement, assembly, testing, documentation, and delivery of SSRs and LB650 Vacuum Gauge and Readout and associated components in accordance with the requirements specified in Exhibit C – PIP-II SSRs and LB650 Vacuum Gauge and Readout Procurement Specification.
The selected subcontractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision required to provide, inspect, test, clean, package, and deliver the SSRs and LB650 Vacuum Gauge and Readout equipment in accordance with the applicable Technical Specifications specified in Exhibit C. The work includes supplying cold cathode vacuum gauges with DN40 CF-F flanges, readout controllers with displays capable of displaying measurements from at least 2 gauges, measurement boards, and cables. The vacuum gauges must meet specified measuring range, radiation resistance, operating temperature, and dimensional envelope requirements. Components must be cleaned to ISO 4 cleanroom standard and delivered in double-bagged packaging. The bidder must provide a schedule meeting a lead time of 6 months from award of the Purchase Order, a Technical Proposal, and a Management Control Plan.

One prequalification covers both — on this bid and the next.
A surety’s written statement that it expects to bond you up to a stated amount, subject to final underwriting. It’s what an agency asks to see before they take your bid seriously.
