Solicitation number 2031ZA27Q00001 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) for Portable Fire Extinguisher Maintenance Services at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) DC Facility (DFC). Please see attached RFQ and attachments for full details.
This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns under NAICS 541990. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference. The full text of provisions and clauses may be accessed electronically at www.acquisition.gov.
The contractor shall provide non-personal services to include all personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to maintain and service portable fire extinguishers in accordance with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) regulations. The services will include at a minimum inspection, maintenance, testing, repair and replacement of the fire extinguishers in use at the BEP; currently, BEP maintains approximately 1,000 portable fire extinguishers which include 955 type ABC’s, 35 type BC (CO2) and 8 type K’s. These items range in weights from 2 ½ lbs. to 20 lbs. All portable fire extinguishers are to be serviced annually in December.
