This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Grand Jury & Deposition Court Reporting Services (commercial items)
for the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Eastern District of Louisiana, prepared in accordance with FAR 12.201-1, as
supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only
solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
This acquisition is being conducted as a Small Business Set-Aside. All offerors are required to verify their small
business status under NAICS code 561492 in their quote. Any quotes from offerors that do not meet the
socioeconomic requirement and small business size standard will not be considered for award.

to 52.212-1- Instructions, Conditions and Notices to Offerors (Mar 2023)

The contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment, and facilities to record and transcribe Grand Jury testimony and Depositions for the USAO. Grand Jury sessions occur at 500 Poydras Street, 3rd floor Federal Building, New Orleans, LA 70130, typically twice a week (Thursdays and Fridays), with an average of 60 sessions per year. Depositions occur anywhere within 50 miles of New Orleans, Louisiana, about 4 times a month with an average of 50 per year. Services include attendance fees, cancellation fees, and transcript delivery in various turnaround times (10 business day, same business day for Grand Jury; 5 business day, 3 business day, same business day for depositions). The contractor must also provide a videographer for depositions, be capable of conducting remote depositions, and comply with strict security requirements for handling Grand Jury information.
