Optical Frequency Combs

The contractor must provide three optical frequency comb systems: one base unit (Item 1) and two separately priced options (Item 2). Each system must have a 200 MHz or greater repetition rate, turnkey operation, high-speed modulation of f_rep and f_CEO, built-in stabilization of f_CEO with phase noise < 1 radian integrated 10 Hz to 1 MHz and <5e-17 frequency instability at 1 second, and modules for optical heterodyne beats and laser locking at specified wavelengths. The systems must include locking electronics, residual stability for locking external lasers <3e-16 at 1 second, and a total package size <= 8U rack-mountable. On-site installation and training are required, and the system must be capable of operating continuously for multiple consecutive weeks. Delivery, installation, and training shall be completed no later than 6-8 months ARO.
