The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a contract for commercial plumbing services for the VA Pacific Island Health Care Systems (VAPIHCS). This is service-based contract for qualified plumbing contractors to provide on-call plumbing repair and limited installation services at VAPIHCS facilities.
The contractor will provide on-call plumbing repair and limited installation services at VAPIHCS facilities. Services include routine plumbing work orders (journeyman plumber and apprentice/helper hours) and emergency plumbing services (emergency service calls with up to 2 hours onsite labor, plus additional journeyman and apprentice hours). The contract has a base period and four option years, with estimated quantities provided for pricing evaluation.
