The JB Charleston is conducting a presolitication notice to identify and procure an industrial-grade, large-format laser cutting and engraving system. The primary objective of this acquisition is to replace a degraded, legacy system with a modern, high-powered solution. This replacement will eliminate ongoing maintenance bottlenecks, restore production efficiency, and provide the command with the reliable, high-volume capacity required to execute internal signage projects and specialized fabrication work.

The system must be a high-powered, large-format CO2 laser system (120W) with a 48" x 36" work area, 12.25" maximum Z-depth, auto-switching 220-240 volts, single-phase, 10 Amp draw, NEMA L6-15P plug, and include a host design station, cutting bed with vector grid double kit, air assist and compressor, optical lenses (1.5" high-detail lens and 2.0" standard lens with three spares), training package, two overhead cameras, CO2 waveguide laser tubes, 1GB internal memory, touch screen interface, no internet or Bluetooth connectivity, integrated safety features, and a 2-year warranty on parts and labor if possible.
