Tobyhanna Army Depot (TYAD) requires services to install, extend, retract, move, and perform all work necessary for the Local Area Network (LAN), located at Tobyhanna Army Depot (TYAD), Tobyhanna Pa. 18466, to support multimedia functions, (e.g., two-way data communications).

The contractor shall provide a team of journeyman LAN cable installers to install and terminate category 6 and 6E LAN twisted pair cable drops (not to exceed 400 per contract year), install, terminate, and splice fiber-optic cable (up to 10 pre-terminated runs and 5 fusion-splicing events per year), provide remedial maintenance for the entire cable LAN (on-site within 6 business hours, restoration within 18 business hours, including water removal from manholes not exceeding 40 hours per year), and uninstall the previously employed Broadband Local Area Network (BBLAN) by removing all coaxial cable and components (approximately 31 miles of cable and 2,126 components total, with 1/5 removed each annual period).
