Central Texas Veterans Healthcare Sysytem is in search of a service agreement for their Fluorescent Microscope System. It is specifically a Leica Brand DMi8 Inverted Fully automated Research Microscope for live cell imaging with fluorescence for Dapi, GFP CY3 and CY5. DIC Nomarski, Phase Contrast, scanning stage, ultra-high-speed monochrome and color cameras, LASX software bundle for XYZ multidimensional imaging and PC work station with on stake incubation system that must be maintained to Leica factory standards.
The contractor shall provide all labor, supplies, materials, supervision, transportation, and non-personnel services necessary for the Follow on Microscope Service. The service agreement covers a Leica Brand DMi8 Inverted Fully automated Research Microscope for live cell imaging with fluorescence for Dapi, GFP CY3 and CY5, DIC Nomarski, Phase Contrast, scanning stage, ultra-high-speed monochrome and color cameras, LASX software bundle for XYZ multidimensional imaging and PC workstation with on stake incubation system. The required Premium Care Service Plan includes unlimited service visits by Leica-Microsystems trained and qualified field service engineers, unlimited replacement service parts (excluding objectives, consumables and 3rd Party parts), one annual on-site Planned Maintenance visit, unlimited access to expert Applications and Technology Support Center, software updates, and one annual ISO 17025 calibration during the planned maintenance. All work must be performed by Leica Microsystems OEM factory-certified Support or Field Service Engineers, and only Leica brand replacement parts may be used.
