Commander, PAE Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) is seeking information regarding industry interest and capabilities for Installation services of tint/frost to interior windows of buildings.
This request for information (RFI) is for planning purposes only. This is not a request for proposal, invitation for bid (IFB), request for quotation (RFQ), or an announcement of solicitation. No solicitation document exists. This RFI is for market research and planning
purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to procure these services, nor does the Marine Corps intend to award on the basis of this RFI or otherwise pay for information requested. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by the Government will arise as a result of submission of responses to this RFI and Government use of such information.
Conduct pre-proposal site walkthrough to identify window panels; obtain precise measurements for identified panels (estimated sizes 25Wx48Lin and 43Wx48Lin); perform cutting of tint/film for proper fit; provide high-quality brand-name tint/film or product similar to 3M dusted crystal film; provide transportation and coordination with Facilities Supply and Services to minimize disruption; provide all required materials and staging plan; clean glass prior to installation; provide safety plans and equipment specifications; submit daily progress reports via email; ensure protection/warranty covering defects or failures in installed tint/film; provide staff instructions on care for tint/film; properly remove and dispose of leftover materials and debris; submit information on subcontractor use and certifications.
