New Chiller Unit
The scope of work is to supply a 60-ton air-cooled chiller unit to the Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center. The new unit shall be a Trane Model CGAM060, or equivalent, with salient features including extra efficiency model air-cooled scroll package chiller, 60 Nominal Tons, 460 Volt/3 Phase/60 hertz, operating charge R-454B refrigerant, freeze protection, refrigerant isolation service valves, strainer and flow switch, process cooling LWT setpoint range, BPHE Evaporator, extreme low-wide ambient operating range, condenser coil with lanced aluminum fins, across the line starter/direct online, single point connection mainline unit power, circuit breaker type disconnects, enclosure type UL 60335, microprocessor controller with BACnet MS/TP interface, phase reversal protection, no wireless options, unit rubber-in-sheet elastomeric isolator set, super quiet style condenser fans, and architectural louvered protection panels. The vendor shall provide all resources necessary to manufacture and deliver the solution within 120 calendar days of contract award. The chiller must be manufactured in the United States to comply with the Buy America Act. Delivery is to the Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center at 5500 E. Kellogg Dr. Wichita KS, 67218 between 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday – Friday, excluding federal holidays. The vendor shall provide startup to activate the manufacturer's extended warranty, which shall include all travel and shipping costs for warranty repair and services for a period of five years.
