USS NEW ORLEANS (LPD-18): Rigging, Crane, and Transportation Service; provide
The contractor must provide a mobile crane with operator and rigger service (minimum 60-ton capacity, including extension jib), a truck with operator service (minimum 2.5-ton stake bed type or equal), and a forklift with operator service (minimum 6,000 lbs) for loading, transporting, and unloading material, stores, and equipment during the availability. The crane must be capable of handling material from the top of the mast to the furthest outboard point of the ship. Each service schedule will be coordinated by SHIPSUPT. The contractor must submit a legible copy of a report listing results of the work to the SUPERVISOR upon completion.
