This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 333111 The small business size standard is 1,250 employees This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
The contractor shall provide a seed counting carousel that meets or exceeds specified salient characteristics: 120-kernel seed cartridges, dual-head solvent-based printer printing a cartridge every 2.3 seconds and holding over 300 cartridges, barcoding verification, size approximately 24x24x12 inches, 120V 15A AC power, equipped with Agriculex Inc. ESC-2 programmable electronic seed counter (110V, 60Hz), software compatible with Almaco SeedPro360, and compatible with Almaco PowerPlant system. The carousel, printers, and counter must be set up, tested, and calibrated, and onsite training must be provided. Delivery is FOB destination to the USDA Plant Introduction Station, 1305 State Ave, Ames, IA 50014 by December 31, 2026.
