The purpose of this RFP is to enter into a contract to provide vended food service meals, snacks, and milk complying with USDA Child Nutrition Program (NSLP, SBP) regulations for Vanguard Academy.
It is anticipated that this RFP will result in a single contract award to the responsive and responsible offeror with the highest score.
The vendor will prepare and deliver specified meals, snacks, and milk to Vanguard High School (2650 S Decker Lake Ln, West Valley City, UT 84119) and Vanguard Middle School (2691 S Decker Lake Ln, West Valley City, UT 84119) on weekdays. Deliveries to the high school must be between 9:30 AM and 10:00 AM, and to the middle school between 9:00 AM and 9:30 AM. The vendor must provide a 15-week cycle menu, comply with USDA meal pattern requirements for NSLP and SBP, maintain food safety and sanitation standards, keep detailed records (transport records, production worksheets, HACCP logs), and invoice the SFA monthly. The vendor may not subcontract any portion of the agreement. The contract will also involve the use of federally donated USDA Foods, with the vendor crediting the SFA for their value.
