Issuing Procurement Unit: State of Utah Division of Purchasing
Conducting Procurement Unit: State of Utah Division of Purchasing
The State of Utah, Division of Purchasing has issued this RFSQ to obtain statements of qualifications from companies interested in providing Pre-Qualified Design Professional Services with the intent to establish an open-ended pre-qualified vendor list. Vendors approved during this process will be prequalified for a period of 12 months after which time an approved vendor must resubmit qualifications for evaluation and renewal. The State retains the right to reopen the solicitation to allow additional vendors to submit responses at any time, but no longer than every twelve months, during the term of this open-ended approved vendor list. The RFSQ can be reopened for any reason the State deems appropriate.

Most Utah work asks for the two below, and the solicitation documents are where it’s stated. One prequalification covers both — on this bid and the next.
A surety’s written statement that it expects to bond you up to a stated amount, subject to final underwriting. It’s what a GC or agency asks to see before they take your bid seriously.
