Bid NO. 26-33 16th Street Culvert Replacement

The scope of work includes removing and replacing approximately 352 ft of collapsed 18-inch reinforced concrete pipe culvert on 16th Street from the western manhole to the southeastern inlet. The replacement culvert shall be Class III reinforced concrete pipe. The vendor is responsible for replacing manholes (2) and curb inlet boxes (2) if damaged during the process, sealing all joints with CAPA joint compound, matching the new culvert to the existing slope, and addressing a sinkhole that is engulfing an AT&T pedestal. The vendor must also restore approximately 24 ft of asphalt pavement meeting TxDot specifications, backfill with a mixture of sand and low PI clay, coordinate with AT&T for pedestal leveling, protect all existing utilities, develop a traffic control plan, dispose of old concrete pipe at an approved landfill, take before/during/after photos, and provide a 1-year workmanship warranty. The vendor must maintain continuous stormwater conveyance and provide bypass pumping if required.
