The University of Texas System-Owner and The University of Texas at Austin are soliciting statements of qualifications for selection of one or more professional/technical services firms for the Professional and Technical Services Associated with Utility and Energy Management Projects, on an asneeded basis, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements set forth in this Request for Qualifications.
Firms may qualify for Area of Work #1 for campus utility plants and distribution systems and Area of Work #2 for building-specific infrastructure renovations and upgrades, providing MEP, civil, structural, instrumentation and controls engineering and architectural services including pre-design evaluation, feasibility studies, Owner’s Project Requirements/Basis of Design, schematic through construction documents, bidding assistance, condition surveys, construction administration and site observation, coordination of consultants, code reviews, design standards, presentation materials, quality control, retro-commissioning, testing and balancing, emissions and effluent compliance support, real-time stamped repair documentation, BIM, hydraulic and thermal modeling using Termis, submittal review, site inspection and punch-list and final inspection.
