Campus Operations and Planning (COP), through Office of BuildingCompliance (OBC), is seeking qualified technical service providers (TSPs) toprovide independent, third-party fire and life safety code and contractcompliance inspection services and testing services in support of theconstruction of new buildings, additions, renovations, and alterations acrossUniversity-owned and leased facilities.
The selected firm(s) will provide field inspections, testing, documentation, and coordination services required by reference codes and the Owner's Design and Construction Standards (DCS) for new buildings, additions, renovations, and alterations. Tasks include generating field reports, documenting work inspected, providing copies to contractors and authorities, reporting non-compliance, reviewing construction documents, and attending construction meetings as requested. Services are required on an as-needed basis for projects at locations including the Main Campus, Pickle Research Campus, Dell Seton Medical Center, McDonald Observatory, Marine Science Institute, and others. The awarded respondent must respond to service requests within two business days and schedule services promptly.
