MDOT-Bay -Janitorial/Lawn/Snow services (12 rest areas)
The contractor must provide janitorial services including daily primary cleaning and periodic checks of restrooms, lobby and entrance way cleaning, storage/utility area maintenance, general grounds cleaning, and cleaning of plastic map cases and display cases. Seasonal services include watering and weeding landscape plantings, powerwashing sidewalks, and maintaining annual flower beds. Snow and ice removal services include shoveling/sweeping walkways, applying deicer, and removing snow from parking areas. Grounds maintenance includes mowing, trimming, edging, mulching, aeration, and spring/fall clean up. The contractor must also perform minor maintenance such as tightening loose screws and plunging toilets.
