This project consists of the design for the replacement of the ceiling within the food service building at Ionia Correctional Facility. The existing ACT ceiling is past expected life and has suffered significant wear and damage. Proposing firms will be responsible for design of the ceiling replacement and repair / configuration of the fire suppression and alarm systems, and replacement of light fixtures. Firms should evaluate the existing ceiling to determine if a plenum space is required and otherwise raise ceiling height to maximize clearance below. The service to be completed should encompass as a minimum the following phases: Schematic Design (300), Final Design (500), Construction Administration - Office Services (600), and Construction Administration - Field Services (700).
