SFPUC Upcoming Contracting OpportunityIn October 2025, the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC) advertised a construction contract, WW-719CR Folsom Area Stormwater Improvements – Harrison/Treat Box Sewers and Connecting Auxiliary Sewers. Now, the SFPUC is actively working on the re-advertisement with a goal to re-advertise the contract in September 2026.
The objective of the project is to address the Sewer System Improvement Program’s level of service in the City’s Inner Mission District. The proposed improvements include building a box sewer on Harrison Street to collect all-weather flows, replacing the existing box sewers on Treat Avenue, building a new box sewer on Florida Street, installing new auxiliary box sewers on 18th and 18th Streets, lining existing sewers on 18th Street, and building or modifying sewer junction structures. The work is to be performed in San Francisco, California.
