Upcoming Trolley Modernization Procurement Updates

Projects include design of new track, overhead catenary, rail signals, and utility relocation for the City-Suburban Track Connector; design of on-street stations, Darby Transit Center, operator facility, track improvements, traffic modeling and signal design for T4 Design; construction management and inspection services for T5 and Heavy Maintenance Facility; upgrade of Green Line tunnel CBTC signal system; ADA and state-of-good-repair improvements including new elevators at 19th, 37th, 33rd, and 36th Street stations; building demolition and site preparation for Heavy Maintenance Facility; construction of new heavy maintenance facility, track yard, substation and employee parking lot; and construction of new on-street stations, intersection realignments, operator's facility, track work, complete streets and traffic signals for T5.
