The contractor will service twelve hundred (1,200) 20 lb., Type ABC fire extinguishers over a two-year period. Services include annual inspections, 5-year hydrostatic testing, 6-year maintenance, repair/recharge of discharged or damaged units, and replacement of condemned units with new 20 lb. ABC type units when SEPTA does not have stock available. The contractor must take units offsite for repair/recharge and hydrotesting, and replace any components needed after testing.
