These specifications detail the requirements for the City of San Diego’s (“City”) Stormwater
Department for the delivery of as-needed ready-mixed Portland cement concrete as
specified in the most current editions of the Standard Specifications for the Public Works
Construction 2024 Edition (Greenbook), which identifies classes of concrete; and, the City
of San Diego Standard Drawings 2021 edition and are intended to include the applicable
provisions of Section 90 the 2025 Standard Specifications of the Department of
Transportation, State of California. For these specifications, mixed and delivered concrete
is defined as aggregate sand, cement, and water, thoroughly mixed and delivered to the job
in the Contractor’s trucks, in the proper proportions for the class of concrete ordered.
Delivery may be to any point within City limits. The delivery of Ready-mix concrete is covered under the Prevailing Wages of the Public Contract Code. Deliveries under this contract will be grant funded by Federal Environmental Protection Agency WIFIA funds, which will be subject to Federal Davis-
Bacon wage requirements.
