The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a certified and qualified contractor to provide repairs, annual preventative maintenance services, and emergency response generator maintenance services for its emergency generators.
The contractor shall perform semi-annual diesel engine oil testing, semi-annual engine coolant testing, annual replacement of all air filters, and conduct in-depth inspections of all emergency generators listed in Attachment A. Work includes visual inspections, cleaning, checking control panels, engine monitors, starting systems, heating systems, cooling systems, fuel systems, air induction and exhaust systems, and diesel engine oil systems. The contractor must also provide semi-annual coolant and oil analysis testing, and submit detailed service reports. The contractor must be available 24/7 for emergency repairs with a 1-hour callback and 4-hour service response for emergencies, and a 12-hour callback and 48-hour service response for routine services.
