MUSC is seeking proposals for the purchase and delivery of a shared-use functional Near-Infrared Spectroscopy (fNIRS) system to support neuroscience, rehabilitation, gait, balance, cognitive, and human performance research.
The system must include a minimum of 16 source and 16 detector channels, modular architecture for reconfiguration, support for both laboratory and mobile data collection, headgear for various head sizes, a prefrontal headband, short-channel capability, motion sensors, and software for data acquisition and export. The system must be compatible with existing NIRx systems and include initial onsite training, a minimum three-year warranty on core hardware, and a one-year warranty on wearable components.
