Valley Water is soliciting bids from qualified vendors for the procurement of one (1) ANSI/NSF 61 trailer-mounted pump package for treated potable water. The selected vendor shall furnish all equipment, materials, components, and accessories required to provide a complete and operational trailer-mounted pump system, including the trailer, horizontal end suction centrifugal pump, valves, electric motor, adjustable speed drive, wires and cables, spare parts, submittals, factory acceptance testing, warranty, trailer registration/title documentation, and delivery. The complete trailer-mounted pump package shall be furnished, assembled, integrated, factory tested, and delivered to Valley Water fully assembled, tested, and ready for operation.
Details
This solicitation is for the procurement of goods/equipment only. The agreement term is anticipated to be one (1) year with no optional one-year extensions. The complete trailer-mounted pump package must be delivered no later than February 1, 2027, to the Penitencia Water Treatment Plant, 3959 Whitman Way, San Jose, CA 95132. Bidders shall submit all questions, clarification requests, and “or equal” requests through PlanetBids by the deadline stated in the solicitation schedule. Bidder’s Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount is required.
Notes
This project is not a public works project and does not include prevailing wage work. The scope is limited to furnishing, assembling, factory testing, documenting, warranting, and delivering the complete ANSI/NSF 61 trailer-mounted pump package. No on-site installation, construction, repair, maintenance, piping tie-ins, electrical connections, or field modifications are included. Bidders are responsible for reviewing the full ITB, Scope and Specifications, required submittals, delivery requirements, and all Addenda issued through PlanetBids before submitting a bid.
