Energy Management Plan Development

Assist in the development of an Energy Management Plan (EMP) that will provide an actionable strategy and roadmap to achieve our goals in increasing energy efficiency, emphasizing strategic energy management (SEM) practices, establishing baseline energy use, proposing energy efficiency (EC) and energy conservation (EC) initiatives, investigate and advise on federal/state/utility rebates and incentives, evaluate on-site power generation, evaluate battery energy storage systems (BESS), develop a roadmap to integrate EMP into an overall energy management system (EMS) with a framework and tools to implement strategic energy management (SEM), emphasize continuous improvement, with a parallel goal in supporting the Department’s Sustainability Action Plan (SAP) by reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, developing climate resiliency through various mitigation and adaptation strategies, supporting water conservation, and encouraging sustainable infrastructure.
