Hunter Substation Circuit 21 and 22 4KV-12KV - Make-Ready

To furnish and install approximately 2,150 trench feet of conduit, install approximately 40 linear feet of 3-inch conduit SCH40, 596 linear feet of 4-inch conduit SCH40, 444 linear feet of 5-inch conduit SCH40, 600 linear feet of 3-inch conduit S40E, 3,266 linear feet of 4-inch conduit S40E, 7,842 linear feet of 5-inch conduit linear feet. Furnish and install three (3) vaults, one (1) pull box, one (1) transformer pad, one (1) pad-mounted switch enclosure vault, one (1) pad-mounted junction cabinet slab box. Scope also includes replacing asphalt paving, grinding, and replacing concrete.

Details
Prior to the proposal submission deadline, bidders must upload via the City’s bidding website a bidder’s bond executed by a corporate surety admitted to engage in such business in the State of California, with an A:7 rating, for an amount equal to at least ten percent of the amount of its proposal. The bid bond must be notarized, and scans are acceptable for the purposes of online submittal, but originals will be required when requested by Purchasing. No proposal shall be considered unless such proposal guaranty is received by the proposal submission deadline. Proposals submitted without a proposal guarantee shall be declared non-responsive and will not be further considered. In order to be considered valid, a bid bond must be signed by authorized representatives from both the Contractor and Corporate Surety.

Any communications, whether written or verbal, with any City Council member, Mayor, or City staff prior to the release of a notification of intent to award or in any manner other than as directed by City Purchasing Staff, is strictly prohibited and the Contractor shall be disqualified from consideration.
